Katy joined GOTRI as Vice President of Partnerships and Development in 2009. In this role, she manages corporate sponsor relationships and oversees development efforts for Girls on the Run International, in addition to partnering with Girls on the Run Councils as a fundraising resource.
A graduate of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, she began her fundraising career in 2000 as Director of Education and Campaigns with the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce in Charlotte, NC. With more than nine years of fundraising experience, she has worked in foundation development, political fundraising and major gift fundraising within higher education, most recently serving as associate director of development at UNC-Chapel Hill. Born and raised in Alaska, Katy is an avid runner and triathlete . She recently completed a half-ironman with her sister and is currently training for her next half-marathon and international distance triathlon. She enjoys long runs with her dog and "training partner", Camden, as well as travel, cooking and trips home to Alaska.
