A native Charlottean, Susan spent a number of years as an account manager in the airline industry in Atlanta, Georgia and Fort Lauderdale, Florida before returning to her hometown to complete her college degree and embark on a new career.She joined GOTRI in October 2009 after participating in the GOTR of Charlotte 5k race in May 2009 where she was inspired by the enthusiasm displayed by the young girls who had just completed the program.She has a strong belief in the organization's mission to educate and promote a lifetime of healthy living and self-respect in young girls and is looking forward to the continued growth of the organization and its mission.

Susan is a graduate of Queens University of Charlotte with a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication and Oglethorpe University with a bachelor's degree in Communications.She is an avid runner, and enjoys yoga, cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with family, friends, and especially the love of her life, Ron.
