Lead Partners of the Access & Inclusion Initiative

Target

Target and Always are the lead national sponsors of the Girls on the Run Access and Inclusion Initiative. As sponsors of this initiative, Target and Always are supporting the organization's marathon goal of being accessible to any person that wishes to participate. The focus of the initiative is to provide financial assistance to ensure that an additional 6,000 girls will have the opportunity to participate in our transformative program in fall 2017 and spring 2018. In addition, the support of Target and Always will be used to develop curriculum modifications for Girls on the Run v.1 to further program accessibility to girls with hearing, visual, cognitive and/or physical differences.

Always

The Cigna Foundation, founded in 1962, is a private foundation funded by contributions from Cigna Corporation (NYSE: CI) and its subsidiaries. The Cigna Foundation supports organizations sharing its commitment to enhancing the health of individuals and families and the well-being of their communities, with a special focus on those communities where Cigna employees live and work. Girls on the Run is a recipient of the Cigna Foundation World of a Difference Grant.

The Brees Dream Foundation

The Brees Dream Foundation was founded in 2003 by Drew and Brittany Brees and is a reliable source of charitable funding globally. The foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life for cancer patients and provide care, education and opportunities for children and families in need. Since its inception 14 years ago, the Brees Dream Foundation have contributed over $25,000,000 to charitable causes globally.

Say It Forward

 

SayItForward.org is a web-based platform encouraging every girl and woman to share her story of overcoming fear or self-limiting beliefs that have held her back in any way. We believe that each story inspires others to find their inner strength by reminding them that they are not alone in facing challenges. Say It Forward celebrates the strength, determination and triumphs of girls & women everywhere.

Reemprise Fund

The Reemprise Fund is a Foundation For The Carolinas Donor Advised Fund that invests in innovative and entrepreneurial projects from nonprofit organizations to produce significant human returns. Since its inception, the Reemprise Fund has provided around $700,000 in transformative grants to an array of arts, education and health and human service organizations. Reemprise is uniquely focused on initiatives that create and grow individual ingenuity and ability. Optimally, its investments help empower enterprises that will, through human initiative, become self-sustaining.
