Our 220 councils served over 200,000 girls across the United States with over 14,000 teams led by 53,000 remarkable volunteer coaches. There were many memorable moments in 2017 thanks to the awe-inspiring girls in our programs and the coaches and supporters who make Girls on the Run possible, but here are just a few that stick out.

321 for Girls on the Run

In Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole, girls engage in lessons about being supportive teammates and choosing to encourage others. Recently, five members of the Girls on the Run charity running program SoleMates put these lessons to use and teamed up to support each other on a 321 mile bike ride across the state of Missouri, raising over $8,000 for Girls on the Run programs in their state.
