Galentine’s Day is a moment to celebrate the friends who listen closely and help us believe in ourselves.

At Girls on the Run, participants develop skills that help friendships grow. They learn how to resolve conflict, share their emotionsand what it means to be a good friend. Those skills show up far beyond the program. In fact, 98% of educator coaches say Girls on the Run supports their school climate by fostering feelings of connectedness among students — connections that often begin in small moments, like feeling accepted or heard.

Caregivers see it firsthand. “My daughter made friends in a new school thanks to the small group and accepting culture in Girls on the Run,” shared Samira, a GOTR parent. Girls echo that experience. “At Girls on the Run, I learned how to find my Happy Pace. It made me feel strong, and I made new friends,” said Emma, a GOTR participant.
